Draclets
Draclets are a species that I thought up for the purposes of a roleplay. They're not copyrighted, since they're not exactly original, but I still refer to them as draclets.
Draclets are essentially tiny dragons. They are vaguely feline in body proportions and movement, but have long, slender, reptilian heads and necks. They are entirely covered in pebble-like scales and have iguana-like, flexible ridges running from their heads to the tips of their tails. Draclet heads have a pair of small horselike ears that can swivel to hear better and a pair of small, ivory horns. Eyes are slit-pupiled and can come in a variety of colors. Draclets have bat-like wings with four "fingers". The membranes stretching between the fingers and the body are translucent, letting some light shine through from the other side of the membrane.
These creatures are known fro their colors. Draclet genetics work in such a way that the color of the offspring is a mix of both parents' colors. Offspring color may range anywhere between the color of the mother and the color of the father. There are three "primary" lines of draclets: red, yellow, and blue. These three colors are the rarest of all possible colors. Slightly more common are the "secondary" lines: orange, green, and purple. The most common coloration is a muddied brown with hints of other colors. The vast majority of Draclets are solid-colored. Occasionally, a draclet may have gradient markings, but these markings are always a similar mix of father and mother colors. Rumors of a pure white draclet have been in circulation, but these rumors have never been confirmed.
